Released alongside the 2nd Pokemon Movie, Pokémon the Movie 2000 - The Power of One on July 21, 2000. This card is holographic on both sides.

Ancient Mew Japanese release Error

Released in a programe book for the 2nd Pokemon movie in Japan, Mirage Pokémon: Lugia's Explosive Birth (幻のポケモン ルギア爆誕) on July 17, 1999. This card is holographic on both sides. Text on bottom reads 'Nintedo', missing an 'n'. This error is rather famous. Given to me by UKCardCollector as a gift.

Ancient Mew Japanese release 1

Released in a programe book for the 2nd Pokemon movie in Japan, Mirage Pokémon: Lugia's Explosive Birth (幻のポケモン ルギア爆誕) on July 17, 1999. This card is holographic on both sides. This is the 'glitter foil' version, making reference to the holographic texture. This version is the rarest.

Mew Promo 47 aka Lilypad Mew

This is a non-holographic promotional card, numbered 47. Released by Wizards of the Coast as a Pokemon League points prize in June 2002.

Coro Coro Lilypad Mew Glossy

This is the glossy version of Lilypad Mew, released by CoroCoro Magazine (コロコロ コミック) in Japan in 1997. The front of the card is covered in a gloss finish.

JR Railroad Lilypad Mew

This is the non-glossy version of Lilypad Mew, released by the Japan Railway Stamp Rally in 1997. This card is the rarest of all three, and was my most wanted Mew card. Given to me by UKCardCollector as a gift.

World Hobby Fair Bubble Mew

This card was released at the 7th Next Generation World Hobby Fair held in December, 1997. It is a glossy card known affectionately as 'Bubble Mew'.

Best Song Collection Bubble Mew

This card was released with the Pokémon Song Best Collection CD released in January, 1999. It is a glossy card known affectionately as 'Bubble Mew'. The difference between the two is the hue of the purple, and is in my collection for nothing more than completion sakes.

Southern Islands Mew Rev-Holo

This card was released in the Southern Islands set in July 31, 2001. In the English release, Wizards of the Coast kept everything intact in the set, something they rarely did. This card is Reverse Holographic.

Southern Islands Mew Rev-Holo

This card was released in the Southern Islands (サザンアイランド) set in July 17, 1999. This card is Reverse Holographic and oddly displays a plain holofoil, which would become standard in English releases later to come.

Mew ☆ δ Holo

This card was released in the EX Dragon Frontiers on November 8, 2006. It is the only card in English thus far that features a Shiny Mew. The holographic treatment on this card is on the Pokemon itself while the art is not holographic.

World Championships 2008 Mew ☆ δ

This card was released in the World Championships 2008 'Empotech' deck signed by Dylan LeFavour. It is non holographic but the silver on the card has a somewhat metallic sheen.

Mew ☆ δ Holo 1st Edition

This card was released in Offense and Defense of the Furthest Ends (さいはての攻防) on June 29, 2006. The holographic treatment on this card is on the Pokemon itself while the art is not holographic. It is also a First Edition.

CoroCoro Shining Mew Holo

This card was released in CoroCoro Comics (コロコロ コミック) in the May 2001 issue. This card has a Neo Destiny set symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the Japanese set. It does have a unique foil treatment: common holofoil and a full-card glittery foil that no other card has. This card is one of my absolute favourites.

This card was released in CoroCoro Comics (コロコロ コミック) in the May 1998 issue to celebrate the release of the first Pokemon movie. It is non-holographic.

This card features the Battle Carnival 2013 Spring logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork. It is reverse Holographic; same as the Southern Islands card.

Championship Arena Non-Holo

This card was released in the World Championship tournament in 2005. They were given out by the staff as a gift to all the players in a small folder. Based on participation numbers, only 255 or so of these cards were given out. This card was the hardest card for me to obtain.

Battle Road Mew vs Celebi Championship Arena Holo

This card was released in the Battle Road tournament in 2005 as the prize card. While not as rare as the English card, it is still very hard to come by. This card is holographic.

Victory Orb Mew Holo

This card was released at the regional Battle Road Summer tournaments in Japan during 2005 and 2006. There are an estimated 162 copies of this card known to exist, making this card the rarest trainer Mew card and the most expensive to obtain. It is holographic on the art as well as the border.

CoroCoro 2010 Illustration contest Zoroark

This card was released with the Illustration Contest run by CoroCoro in 2010 in commemoration of the new movie. The top ten illustrations were printed as cards. Official sources deviate between 10-100 printed, but the general consensus is that only 10 copies exist. Therefore, this card is the rarest in my collection, and likely to remain as such. It is non-holographic.
